Happy 40^th Anniversary!

1968 – 2008: 40^th Anniversary of Life and Mission of the Missionary Order of the Apostles of Jesus.

 

Dear Friend of the Apostles of Jesus; Happy 40^th Anniversary. 

Pope Benedict XVI reminds us that: “There is an urgent need for the emergence of a new generation of Apostles anchored firmly in the word of Christ capable of responding to the challenges of our times and prepared to spread the Gospel far wide.” This is, you and us, the Apostles of Jesus, who today mark a milestone of 40 years of Life and Mission ad gentes.  

Apostles of Jesus is a 40 year’s success story not because of what we have done, but rather what Jesus the Good Shepherd has accomplished through us; and with your generosity to the Order. We have grown in quality and number in ways we never dreamt of 40 years ago. Who knew that in 4 decades the Apostles of Jesus would be ministering in Africa, Europe, North America, and before long, to South America. Thanks be to God; and to you. With your help we shall not stop till we bring the Gospel to everyone, everywhere, unto the ends of the Earth. Our founders often said that: “Apostles of Jesus are in the Front Line of Mission.”  

Based on the growth, of the Order, it was necessary to expand our Major Seminary in Nairobi – Kenya to accommodate the many good vocations the Lord is sending us. This is an urgently needed facility, and we are investing every dollar in it. Please support us in any way you can in order to complete this project. Your gift today enables us to continue the Lord’s work and expand our mission of Life for all in all its abundance – John 10:10. 

May this anniversary year be joyful, hopeful, and life-full in Christ, our Good Shepherd. Happy 40^th Anniversary.
